Hand Tying Ceremonies at Alcumlow Wedding Barn

If you are looking to make your wedding ceremony extra special then why not incorporate hand tying?

Hand tying (or hand fastening) is is is an ancient Celtic ritual which includes actually tying the hands together to symbolise the binding of two people who are in love. The tying of the hands usually takes place before the exchange of wedding rings and can also include the exchange of personal vows bringing additional meaning to your ceremony.

Although hand tying has become more popular recently, it is still relatively uncommon meaning it is also a great way of making your ceremony more unique.

If you chose to marry at Alcumlow Wedding Barn, your ceremony will be conducted by Cheshire East Registrars who are very much experienced in conducting hand tying ceremonies. Simply ask them about hand tying when you are arranging your ceremony and they will be able to provide more information and help you to decide if it is something you would like to incorporate into your day.
