Creative ways to involve your dog into your wedding day
1. A great way to include your dog into your wedding is during the Ceremony. Perhaps you’d like an extra cute usher to guide guests to their seats. A ring bearer, flower dog or to walk the bridesmaids down the aisle. Dress them up in their best wedding attire to create a picture perfect, adorable moment to cherish.
2. Don’t forget to let your guests know your pooch will be there! We love these order of the days created by Emmy Designs which includes illustrations of the gorgeous flower dogs Millie & Margot.
3. For a different approach (and for the more crazy breeds!) we recommend inviting your canine guests to your drinks reception to join amongst the more lively atmosphere and pose for those oh so fantastic group shots.
4. Weddings can be loud and busy places, as much as you wish your four legged friends would love to be there with you, you need to hold realistic expectations. If your pooch has socialisation issues or crowd anxiety then perhaps bringing them into your big day may not live up to your canine fantasy, but don’t fret, and remember: there are plenty of other ways to incorporate your dog around your wedding day.
