At Alcumlow, we are actively working towards becoming a more eco-friendly venue. We believe in creating beautiful experiences while minimising our impact on the environment. From glass recycling to sourcing local and sustainable products, we are constantly striving to make greener choices for our couples and their guests.
Our Story
Steeped in history and surrounded by natural beauty, Alcumlow Wedding Barn is a family-run venue, that holds a rich heritage. Our journey began in 2015, with a vision to create a timeless space, we take pride in hosting extraordinary weddings that leave a lasting impression.

Since our early days we have been able to continue to expand our wedding venue by adding our beautiful outdoor ceremony space, the Whitehouse and our Courtyard garden.

Our couples often find themselves coming back to our venue long after their wedding day — whether it is to celebrate an anniversary, relive their special moments, or bring their little ones to see where their love story began.

"From the first time we viewed Alcumlow, we knew we had found the perfect wedding venue for us. Perfect for smaller weddings, we only had 45 people attending, but they can host more. The wedding barn is already beautifully decorated with fairy lights and tables decorated, so it's all done there. There is a 'Bridal Suite' not far from the barn where the bride and her family, bridesmaids, can all get ready together. We arrived early morning in our PJ's and it was lovely warm and cosy.
Alcumlow really do think of everything, there wonderful lady called Carole takes care of everything on the day, she totally co-ordinates everything on the day, it runs like clockwork, (you can't have a wedding without a Carole) she was truly amazing that day..."
